I Don't Want That For You (Peridot to Lapis)
Everyone tells me that this gets easier, but I still don't believe it.
Especially now, I can see your apprehension. And I wish I could help you,
but what can I do?
I don't want this for you.
(Hologram screen starts beeping, shows Lapis in her cell staring up at the screen pleadingly)
(Peridot looks longingly at her, then turns away abruptly.)
Everyone says that my emotions are blinding me, and maybe they're right.
But what about you? I really want to protect you.
What if somehow you get hurt, what would I do?
I don't want that for you.
Ooooo,
Please do what they say,
And they might spare you,
Of what, I just can't say...

The small green gem walked out of the barn to look at what the others called an ocean. “The cluster is gone, I destroyed the cluster I’M A CRYSTAL GEM.” Peridot said feeling quite highly of herself.
She started to walk down to the beach to see none other than her fellow homeworld gem Lapis Lazuli. “Why would that clod be sitting here by herself in the dark” Peridot reminded herself not to call everyone clods especially since she was also one now. “Hello Lazul- I mean Lapis” Peridot stood by the blue gem and when she didn’t respond she spoke again. “You really shouldn’t stay out here

“Log date 7 17 2: Steven has shared with me some of the details regarding the Crystal Gems’ expeditions to the ocean floor in search of Malachite. it appears as though the last few sweeps have produced little results. I do not understand why but this news has left me feeling… hollow. She cleared her throat as suddenly Amethyst took her sights by walking past her with crossed arms and stood right by the waves that softly dragged against sand.
"Wish me luck...." Peridot sighed softly and hopped off the rock, Amethyst did not quite notice her at this point as she cleared her throat to get Amethysts attention. "A-Amethyst" Peridot stuttered as Amethyst turned her way. -Hm- Amethsyt simply said as she saw Peridot and set a soft glare her wa

Close Encounter of the 6 Months Old Kind
“The position for holding this creature is awkward,” Peridot complained, “It’s very squishy and will not stop moving, no matter how much I command it to do otherwise.”
Connie chuckled slightly as she watched the small green gem hold her and Steven’s daughter for the first time. While the Crystal Gems had been ecstatic about the new baby(after they were assured that no one would have to give up their form for the baby to be born), the former homeworlders were less than enthused. For the majority of her pregnancy, Jasper, Lapis, and Peridot had been utterly confused by the whole situation. She couldn’t
“That’s it… stay there…” Peridot slowly removed her hands from the plank of wood she had stuck on top of the splintering edge that was the hole in the wall. Her narrowed eyes were glued on the piece of wood, searching for any signs of movement. After a while, she let out a sigh of relief.
“Well, that’s done and dusted,” she said, satisfied, brushing the dirt from her hands. “Looks like Peri’s earned herself a brea-”
BOOM!
“WAAH!”
She lost her balance on the pile of boxes she was standing on, and found herself toppling over the edge, then met the ground below wit
